Today we hear common phrases such as, "Speak/live your truth," or "What's true for you may/may not be true for someone else." So how can you be sure if anything is certainly true? Does absolute truth even exist? The bigger challenge is when we are faced with something claiming to be the truth that conflicts with our perception or knowledge. It's called cognitive dissonance, and it's at those critical junctions that we have a choice to make. We can either submit to what claims to be true, which in our context is God's Word, or we choose to eliminate that in part or whole.
